Working with found objects has always motivated me to be creative. Naturally, being a metalsmith, when my PC keyboard broke my initial thought was incorporating it into jewelry. The first key I was drawn to was the Esc key which I ended up being the centerpiece of a ring. I thought it was a quirky reminder for the wearer to take a break and "escape" reality. The material in this ring includes sterling silver, 3mm cubic zirconia and a plastic upcycled PC Esc Key.
